Ivory Tree Game Lodge is situated in the north eastern region of the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park, the closest point of entry is through Bakgatla Gate. The Pilanesberg National Park is situated in the North West Province of South Africa and is home to a large variety of wildlife including all of the Big Five.

The recommended route follows the N4 before turning north following Pilanesberg signs along the R556. Look out for the Bakgatla Gate signage and at the third fourway stop proceed rght (north). Continue to follow Bakgatla/Ivory Tree Game Lodge Gate indicators.
