Guests can easily access Bakubung Bush Lodge by car from Johannesburg. The drive from Johannesburg only takes about 2 hours, depending on traffic, making it ideal for a weekend safari getaway. Guests can also visit nearby Sun City.
How to get there:
Directions from Fourways, Sandton:
From Fourways in Sandton, Johannesburg, take the N1 North towards Polokwane. Continue and take the N4 Rustenberg Split (tollroad). Follow the road straight until you see a signboard on the left side of the road indicating Pilanesberg to the left on route 91. Exit left off the highway at the sign.
At the T-junction, turn right and continue along this road until you reach Sun City. Once you've reached Sun City, continue straight past the Zenex garage situated on your right hand side. After about 4km (2.48 miles) you will see a sign indicating you to turn right to Bukubung. Turn right at this sign and follow the road until it leads you to the Bakubung Gate and to Bakubung Bush Lodge.
